About Us
Its Almost Tuesday is a fictional story depicting true events of child abuse in the Texas foster care system. The story is from the perspective of an 8 year old foster child. Inspired and written in 2005 based on my family’s experiences, it uses my child’s true and exact words whenever possible.
Since then, It’s Almost Tuesday has changed it’s focus from the most difficult uphill battle of child welfare law reform to spreading awareness of the often times overlooked hidden form of child abuse called parental alienation. Parental Alienation is a form of abuse so harmful, that if it is not recognized and stopped in, can lead to irreparable damage to the child and the family unit that can last a lifetime
In it’s most severe form, its harm can be passed down through generations.
